Collection: Candles

Hello and welcome to my new candle collection! I've only been building candles for a few months now, but I've built up quite an inventory, and I hope you'll take a look!

I've always been drawn to candles - the flickering light, the scent which fills a room and can change the atmosphere without being overpowering. But I've always had a hard time picking them - they either smell too sweet and awful or I get so overwhelmed that I end up walking away without any. So I understand the struggle that comes along with purchasing candles!

A few months ago I was introduced to a gal who also just started building candles. I fell in love with her orange and vanilla candle, and bought 3 on the spot! I took inspiration from her journey and set out on my own. After hours and hours on Google, the YouTubes, social media and any other site I could gain knowledge, I finally placed my first order for supplies.

Now, I've built quite a few candles, made lots of mistakes, but gained so much knowledge. I'm happy to say the line of candles I have now are my favorites to date. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that my likes and preferences in candle scents change perhaps with the seasons, so I've tried to make candles that suit the season, that everyone will enjoy. I've got a few citrus scents, a few spicy scents, and a few earthy scents, all with a vanilla base. I love the smell of vanilla, and it's hard to beat such a deep, soothing smell.

My candles are made with soy wax. Soy is a by product from soy beans, and is 100% natural and sustainable. Here are some other properties of soy I think you'll enjoy:

• extended burn time - 4oz candles will burn approx 35 hours
• no unslightly black soot
• burns slower and longer than parafin
• superior fragrance holding qualities

To scent my candles, I've chosen to use both essential oils and plant based fragrance. The essential oils are 100% pure and all natural, vegan and cruelty free, and are non-gmo. The fragrances used are phthalate free, paraben free, and are long lasting. 

For now I'm only offering candles in 4oz. tins. I have plans to develop the line as products sell. I'd like to see which candles you choose to purchase, and then go from there. I have lots of ideas, and can't wait to develop more of them, but I have to sell some of my inventory first! Haha!
