The first beaded set of 2023!
This set is truly outstanding, and a real work of art. I created a new shape for the breastcollar and cheek pieces for this set, trying something new here! This set is in a chocolate brown color, with tan colored floral carving.
The short cheek headstall features floral carving on both cheeks, and a portion of the crown opposite the bead work. The beadwork is a brand new pattern as well, and includes the colors, black/dark brown/brown/denim blue/turquoise/cream. I used a small amount of turquoise buckstitch on the ends of the crown strap. And the headstall buckles are new as well - I've never used these ones before!
Headstall measures 36.5" with holes larger and one hole smaller, per side
The breastcollar features matching beadwork in the same brown/blue color scheme. I added a bit of turquoise buckstitch above and below the beading, and a little brown buckstitch on each end of the sides and down the center strap.
A SUPER nice set, worthy of a mare OR gelding. I won't be using these colors in this pattern again, so this is truly a one-of-a-kind set!
