A real stunner!
For this set, I used details from the sets I've been building over the past few months, and put them together in this one. I love, LOVE it!
This set is dark brown in color, with medium brown and tan highlights. The square copper conchos with the silver flower and dot border are some of the nicest I've seen.
You'll notice I used turquoise paint on the small flower stamp. This is a small detail that makes all the difference. It really brings the set to life! I used a small amount of metallic turquoise in the breastcollar, and that really draws your eye in.
I decided to use silver lacing on this set, which I really like. The other sets had metallic gold or chocolate lacing, and I love the silver on this set! I used both antique silver and copper spots throughout. The crown strap has copper spots on it. I used a silver buckle with copper flower center, on the headstall. This set has a total of 11 conchos on it!
This is a really exciting set, whether it's your first Hooligan set or you're adding to your collection - it's one you won't want to pass by!
This headstall is a short cheek, and measures 35" with 2 holes smaller and 2 holes bigger, for adjustment.
